Aydem Renewables is deemed worthy of the "Distinction Winners" award, which is the highest rating, at the International Occupational Safety Awards organized in London by the UK-based British Safety Council, one of the world's most respected institutions in occupational health and safety. At the ceremony, which was held for the 65th time this year, Aydem Renewables became the only company in its sector to receive the "Distinction Winner" rating from Turkey.
The International Occupational Safety Award Ceremony, organized annually by the UK-based British Safety Council, one of the world's most respected institutions on occupational health and safety, was held in London. Aydem Renewables has achieved the highest rating level of "Distinction Winner" with 51 points in the International Occupational Safety Award evaluation, which it has participated for the first time. In the organization attended by more than 250 companies from our country, Aydem Renewables has become the only company in Türkiye to receive the "Distinction Winner" award in the energy sector.
At the ceremony held in London, the award has been presented on behalf of the company to Cem Çelebi, Aydem Energy HSE and Sustainability Group Director. Çelebi said, "For a sustainable and safe future, we act with the motto of 'People First' and focus on our efforts to ensure that our activities are carried out in accordance with health, safety and welfare criteria. We implement the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System with an approach that aims to minimize risks for the safety and health of our employees. We are extremely proud to have received the ‘Distinction Winner' award at the British Safety Council's International Occupational Safety Awards, which we have attended for the first time with this perspective and with our accompanying activities. We shall endeavour even more as a team to continue our success in this field."
