Aydem Renewables Board Members have visited Uşak Hybrid SPP, the largest hybrid SPP of Türkiye, and Uşak WPP facility which possesses the largest purple bladed turbines of Türkiye.
During the visit of Aydem Energy Chairman Ceyhan Saldanlı, Aydem Renewables Board Members Asya Vuslat Saldanlı and Mehmet Gökay Üstün, our Independent Board Members Ersin Akyüz, Dilek Bil, Serpil Demirel and Mehmet Hayati Öztürk; our General Manager Ömer Fatih Keha has shared information about the facility.
Stating that Uşak Hybrid SPP with the installed capacity of 82.15 MW is the largest hybrid SPP in Türkiye, Ömer Fatih Keha said, "Uşak Hybrid SPP, possessing an innovative technology has been established with an investment of 55 million dollars and shall meet the annual energy needs of 59,420 households with an annual energy generation capacity of 164 GWh." and continued his statement as follows: "We have completed the installation of 11 turbines with an installed capacity of 6 MW with a blade length of 80 meters and a rotor diameter of 160 meters. These turbines are also the largest purple bladed wind turbines in Türkiye. By obtaining the ministerial approval for our Uşak Hybrid SPP plant in February, for our 9 turbines in June within the wind capacity increase, and for our 2 turbines in August, we have initiated our operations for clean energy generation. In the field where we will install 17 turbines in total, the assembly and installation works of the remaining 6 turbines are in progress step by step. In the first 8 months of 2023, we have increased our capacity by 148 MW with Uşak Hybrid SPP. The total amount of these investments, which constitute the first phase of our Uşak investments, amounts 130 million dollars."
